English Coin Jewelry with Vintage George VI Threepence in Handmade Setting

54.00

This George VI English Threepence rests in a hand crafted setting made of recycled sterling silver wire . I make each setting by hand separately from the coin. The coin does not have a hole drilled in it or any metal soldered to it's edge. The handmade setting is sturdy and allows the coin to be worn as a charm on a bracelet.

The obverse of the coin features a portrait of an uncrowned George VI by Thomas Humphrey Paget. The reverse has the Thrift plant, a perrenial coastal wildflower commonly found in Scotland and Wales. The metal content of the coin brass nickel. The coin was minted from 1937 to 1948.

Approximate Size: Length: 1.4 inch (including bail), Width: .9 inch, Inner Dimension of bail: .22
