I have always had a curiosity about light, color, and movement. Designed and handcrafted in my studio located in central Virginia, my work began as a need to create beautiful, functional objects. Jewelry has always been at the top of my wants (really, needs) list. A research project on 19th century French silver brought to light the recurrence of ancient motifs which continue influence on my work today. Largely self-taught, I have taken workshops with noted metal workers in New Mexico and Virginia.
My work is in sterling silver, gold, and natural gemstones. Using traditional fabrication techniques, careful consideration of scale, weight, and durability result in well balanced, unique pieces to be enjoyed for years. I produce one-of-a-kind pieces and develop unique lines including the woven rose series and coin series. My jewelry has been featured at galleries and fine art shows throughout Virginia.
